Why is the American Girl Doll Hospital becoming the Doll Care Center?
The new name reflects the more complete care experience we offer that goes beyond repair services, to include skin cleaning, hair brushing, restyling, and more.

Will the American Girl Doll Care Center have the same services as the Doll Hospital?
Yes, you can choose from the exact same services as before and enjoy expert care that will have your doll looking like new and ready for play.

How can I send my doll to the American Girl Doll Care Center?
Choose the type of doll you want to admit, then select a care-and-repair service to continue the process. Be sure to follow the instructions on the form to ensure a quick return.

How long does it take to get a doll back from the American Girl Doll Care Center?
A Doll Care Center visit takes approximately two to four weeks, depending on volume, from the date of admission for the patient until her return home. Because of high volume in December, we recommend that any doll who needs to be home in time for the winter holidays be shipped to American Girl no later than the middle of November.

I sent my doll to the American Girl Doll Care Center. How can I learn about the doll's status?
To help you track your doll's progress through the process, we will email you on three occasions:
 • We will send an email confirmation after your submit your order. This email will have a link to print your admission paperwork and instructions on how to send your doll to the Doll Care Center.
 • When we receive your doll, to confirm admission and placement in the treatment queue.
 • When your doll is shipped back to you for a healthy homecoming.
