You may return or exchange your item(s) at any American Girl store location. We only accept returns of products purchased directly from American Girl, either online or at an American Girl store. Create Your Own Dolls and Garments, dolls with ear piercing, and shipping and processing fees are non-refundable. Items designated as "final sale" cannot be returned.

American Girl will accept returns and exchanges on any item within the Janie and Jack Collection for 30 days after purchase. After 30 days, all sales are final. No returns, refunds or exchanges.

The parking lot and entrance to the store are both wheelchair accessible. There is an elevator in the store and all restrooms are accessible. There is also wheelchair-accessible seating in the restaurant.

Reservations are required to dine in our bistro. If you would like to secure a time, you can make reservations on this page.

For curbside pickup, park in front of the store just beyond the patio and call 703-852-5047. If traffic is congested in front of the store, customers can park at the Bloomingdale's curbside area adjacent to American Girl.

For in-store pickup, go to any register or give your name to an associate.

Finally, try the Styled by You experience, which allows your girl to create a personalized doll with fashions and accessories. Some of these experiences require a reservation, so we do recommend checking before visiting.
